" rising start" project

We had to create a mask based on a person that we admire and feel confident that they will become very successful in their careers. I chose Maria Brink from the metal band "In This Moment" She is a strong woman with a bright future, but with a dark and tragic childhood.

Some current Projects

For this assignment, we read a short story by Steven Millhauser and created a cover for either a book or a story. My professor wanted a more hand-made approach to the project, so I went back and created the one above.

My story takes place in an alternative reality where mushrooms were the first in becoming sentient, but with human attributes. It's a mushroom world!

These characters have a long way to go to be finished...

A maquette inspired by the Tea Party in 1777, where events like this one were planned or discussed in coffee houses. 

Logo

I'm been working this logo for a while, it's based on ancient Zapotec designs, although I drew it a few times before for a collaborative project, it was by hand on clay, and was for a different purpose as I wanted a more hand-made feeling, but this time I wanted to re-create it in a more graphic way, the most difficult part was balancing the geometry with so many circles.
